Stratum class types 1

There are three factors that make a class. They depend on your selection of sub-classes. There are 9 sub-classes, they are grouped by 3 and you can only choose one from each group. You must select a sub-class from each group.
First group - classes by M.O.

Assault class - the main combat core of each modern tactical combat squad. Usually armed with assault rifles, submachineguns and pistols. Small arms experts, the only sub-class to be able to dual-wield weapons.

Stealth class - this usually long-range tactical suppression unit is trained in the ways of the shadows, camouflage and silence. Prefer long-range weapons, but also proficient with scoped machine-guns.
They usually perform diversions to confuse the enemy and divert the attention from the main assault.

Support class - this class can equip the heaviest weapons, they can disarm enemy mines, they have excellent melee skills. If officers, they can man the chopper minigun, if tactical specialists, they can use the Valkyrie rockets.

What is Stratum?

Stratum is a Call of Duty: Black Ops modification in development. It changes the gameplay of the original game to match the class based gameplay in Battlefield games. Don't worry, we won't turn Call of Duty into Battlefield, we just want to elevate the game to a higher tactical level. We feel that the concept of Black Ops was good, but tough well executed, some classes (perk-based) were not utilized enough. That is the target of the Stratum mod. We want all the classes to be powerful in their own way and fun to play.

There are 27 different pre-picked loadouts which depend on your preferences. The create a class menu consists of a 3x3 grid. In this grid you select one out of 3 fields from each of the rows representing your preferred modus operandi, class specialization and weapon type preferences, respectfully.

Your loadout including your equipment, special equipment and grenades depends on your choice at the 3x3 grid, as do your perks.
